Hello, Creatures of the Night!
Perspective changes everything.
each luminous star
appears to fade in brilliance
compared to the moon
Perspective
How strange is it that we think the moon is brighter than the stars. The moon is only a relfection of our closest star—it has no light of its own. The stars of the firmament are millions of times brighter than the moon on any given night, but we are blinded to their brilliance becasue of our proxmity to the moon.
We often make the wrong conclussions from our observations and comparisons because we lack the right perspective to see the truth. We are often too close to understand what true brilliance really is.
Perhaps, we should try and remember the truth about the moon and the stars before we form conclsuions about our own work. We might just have the wrong perspective to make a correct judgement.
Be the poetry you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason
Are You Making the Right Comparisons?
I love the colour scheme on this one...
Great. Just love how the stars dim as we move along. Nice touch!
