Hi Purveyors of Hope & Madness!
I love watching kids explore the world.
kids plus ping pong balls
turn any room into a
makeshift physics lab
Here is another unpublished poem from my archives. This one, like yesterday’s, was written at the end of March 2020. I had a lot of free time in the early days of the pandemic lockdown era.
Dangerously Close
Two teens loiter,
“Dangerously close to one another,”
as Sheryl once said.
One arm swing brings
their fingers within touching distance.
He pulls back embarrassed,
she turns her head and grins.
They keep walking down the hill
both waiting for something to happen.
Be the weird you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason
