Hi High Wire Walkers!
How does anyone ever get bored of the sunrise or the sunset?
Sunsets, while spectacular, are easy to catch. Dawns are a bit more elusive. Some will tell you there is nothing better than waking up before the sun and watching it crawl into the sky. But I tell you that there is nothing sweeter than feeling a dawn that you have stayed up to watch. Dusk becomes the preshow, and chatting under the starlight is the main event. But all conversation stops as the dawn—heaven’s grand finale—begins. You will never sleep deeper than you will after staying up to catch the sun's commute.
Be the poetry you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason
My poetry books
P.S. Today’s comic is from my next collection of haiku comics. It’s called, The Totally Inadequate Guide to Adulting, and it will feature haiku comics that focus on advice for cultivating a sense of wonder in a world committed to killing your curiosity. I was originally planning on a release date in the middle of May, but Becky’s recent health issues have forced me to roll that back to sometime in June. This book will make an excellent graduation gift. I will give you more details about the launch date and any presales in the coming weeks.
