Every moment contains a million different stories. Here are my feeble attempts to capture a handful of these momentous tales.
snobs doubt the artist
who only paints the billboards
blind to the beauty
range of human love
not found in shakespeare's sonnets
listen to torch songs
in the slender crack
between opportunity
and failure, she died
kept muse in a jar
pierced small holes in her tin roof
forgot to feed her
when she shook a hand
saw their future together
lived a thousand lives
when he read comics
he lamented life was lived
outside the boxes
stalked bars and cafes
finicky about his prey
he stole catchphrases
her quiet boldness
overpowered his craven
noisy spinelessness
once robot butlers
discovered marx, things became
awkward at the lab
our cats were working
with the machines the whole time
still mad about dogs
