sing an ocean hymn
mysterious, dark and deep
feel primeval pull

have you even lived
if you haven't almost died
in the ocean at least once?

some used to believe
birds migrated to the moon
and spend winter there

moon watches the streets
spotlighitng the loneliness
of those that are left

rocket’s violent
push off the only way to
escape veloicty

with a look I see
meteorites in your eyes
don't doubt your power

life in the current
each koi's eternal jounrey
is this happiness? 

a blank legal pad
holds the notes from a meeting 
where nothing was said
