Hi Fairy Tale Readers!
Do you still read fairy tales?
narrow yellow eyes
tracked traveler’s progress
through grandmother’s woods
This haiku is part of a series of poems I wrote based on fairy tales. I shared another part of this series back in September:
never doubt a frog
when she tells you to kiss her
why would a frog lie?
This frog comic is also in my book, Wild Divinity.
I’m not sure how many of these fairy tale poems I’ve written, but I find they’re a lot of fun to illustrate when I need a little break from my normal nature-focused work.
Do you still read fairy tales? Do you enjoy modern adaptations? Do you ever write fairy tales? Let me know!
Cheers,
Jason
P.S. You’ve made Wild Divinity my best book launch ever! I sold more books in January and February than I have in the past two years combined! And it’s not just Wild Divinity that has been selling. Many of my older books have also been seeing more sales too. Thank you so much for all of your support. Every book, t-shirt, and poster purchase and every paid newsletter subscriber helps me keep going with my whimsical poetry career. You are the best readers any indie poet/comic creator could ask for!
