Is this the end?

I had already created this strip when I read Justin Deming’s great micro-story, “Lockdown”.

I try to post hopeful, wonder-focused comics. This one is a bit darker and I was thinking I wouldn’t post it. However, after reading Justin’s story, I realized that part of healing the world through art is sharing sad and tragic stories. Sometimes we need to sit with uncertainty. Sometimes we just need to cry.

With everything going on in the world and in your life, I hope you’re taking time to find wonder, and I hope you’re taking time to sit with sadness and grief.

Be the weird you want to see in the world!
