Hello, Creative Cats!

Yesterday, I greeted you with the sobriquet, Moonbeam Drinkers, and

Mya Dexter
commented that “moonbeam drinkers” would be great in a haiku. I haven’t written that haiku yet, but I did remember this haiku I wrote back in May of 2021 and decided to illustrate it for today.

The Use Case for Creativity

The purpose of creativity is to make people uncomfortable. That includes your parents, your teachers, your bosses, your political leaders, and YOU!

New problems are not solved by applying old solutions. Progress is not made by doing what has always worked in the past.

But humans are hardwired to resist change. Change is uncomfortable.
