One of Dascha Paylor’s recent stories, The Whispering Violin, got me thinking about how occasionally music can instigate transcendent experiences.
If you had to describe the purpose of life, you could do a lot worse than to say our purpose is to transcend our ordinary experience. We are creatures in search of the sublime.
Do you remember the last time you lived through a sublime moment or had a transcendental experience? Why not seek out more of such moments?
What can you do today to bring yourself a little closer to the sublime?
Be the weird you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason
