Hello, Intrepid Adventurers!
What are you working on?
my Guinea pig came
back from the future, now I’m
her unpaid intern
Right now, I’m hard at work getting the second issue of Weirdoku ready to publish. Weirdoku is my experimental haiku comic zine. This next issue is all about time & time travel. I will be having a cover reveal soon, and you’ll be able to get your digital and physical copies shortly! (Paid subscribers get a free digital issue.)
The comic above will be in the zine!
I’m also rereading Radioactive: Marie & Pierre Curie, A Tale of Love and Fallout by Lauren Redniss for secret reasons. It’s a beautiful, intriguing book that’s hard to describe. I think of it as a tale told in collage. It’s different from a standard graphic novel and is incredibly well-researched.
Here is my haiku summary:

What projects are you taking on this summer?
I love making poetry comics and writing all of the weird things you’ve come to expect from this newsletter. Your support makes all the difference between me being able to do this and me having to get a real job.
There are three ways readers support my strange work. The first is the most important, and it’s free: reading and sharing this newsletter.
The second way is becoming a paid subscriber. Paid subscribers help keep the lights on at Weirdo Poetry. They also get free digital versions of each book and zine as it is published. Once I resume my normal publication schedule after summer, they also get an exclusive members-only post once a week.
The third way to support my work is to buy my books, zines, and merch. You can find t-shirts, prints, and digital copies of my books at my store WeirdPoetry.shop. I can put just about any of my poetry comics on a t-shirt or print, so if you don’t see a design you want, just message me, and I will get it added.
Right now, print versions of my books are only available on Amazon. However, that will be changing by the end of August. Here are the Amazon links to my two most popular publications:
Weirdoku #1: A Disciple of the Sea
Thanks for reading! Be the weird you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason
