I watched both episodes 1 and 2 of WandaVision on Disney+ this weekend and I’m in love. I’m a massive pop-culture junkie. Growing up I loved Nick at Nite in the 1980s and 1990s when it showed classic black and white sitcoms. I’m also a big comic book and science-fiction dork. I should also add that I’m a story nerd. WandaVision tingles so many of my geeky glee spots. This is the kind of content that is perfect for the streaming age because it’s far too weird to ever make it on a broadcast channel. The haiku below contain spoilers. make sure you watch the first two episodes before reading.
wife's flying saucers

wedded sitcom bliss
all my hours watching

what does the company do
that employs vision?
does anyone care
the man's name is vision and
he has no last name?
blink and you'll miss it
logos from hydra and sword
something sinister
all the commercials
and pop music played in show
slightly off-kilter
dottie's glum minions
picture-perfect stepford wives
it's "for the children"
wanda's pregnancy
raises some awkward questions

killer sitcom tropes
please have vision jump a shark

Thanks for reading! I’m on a bit of a pop-culture kick lately. In the next few days, you will be getting haiku commentary on Taylor Swift’s Folklore and Evermore albums. Please let me know what you thought of this post.
