It's been many years since I lived near the ocean and I enjoyed the time I spent there. I collected a bunch of seashells from a beach and keep them in a vase in my apartment. They serve as a visual memory of that point in my life. Thanks for this haiku.
I grew up a mile from the Atlantic ocean! My parents still live there. I'm lucky to still live near enough to visit often. Lots and lots of memories there.
Love this snapshot of your childhood beach memories. It made me think of the tide pool treasure hunt expeditions my dad and I used to go on. Thanks for the memory jog.
That sounds delicious! What a great memory. Now, I'm hungry!
Ocean memories are sacred, and up there with tree/forest memories!
Sacred is exactly how I feel about ocean memories!
Beautiful newsletter!!!
Thanks!

I’ve only been to the Atlantic once. It was a brilliant vacation, but I’m a very west coast guy

I bet you’ve seen some spectacular tide pools!
“Be the poetry that you want to see in the world” is a great mantra. Fantastic issue.
