How wonderful your newsletter is today!!! I shared on Notes a poem that plays on the word "birthday" and if you weren't tagged I meant to tag you...
Thank you so so much for mentioning my Figures Of Speech exhibit!!! Wasn't it such fun to meet there??? And thank you again for letting me buy copies of your books directly from you!!! What a treat!!!
We finally got some rain tonight. More storms are forecast, but I'll believe it when I see them. I'm solar powered, so I think it would be impossible to live in the northwest.
Hi haikuistas,
with not many crows, is it
attempted murder?
I love this, Weston!
very clever!
👌🏼
🤣🤣😆
“A murder of one”
"A Murder of One" would be a great title for a story about a lawless Crow out for revenge
Thank you for sharing your vulnerability,
they say,
and help themselves to another piece.
Wow! That's dark, I love it! I love this play on sharing. That last line is superb.

It was wonderful to meet you in person too!!!!
As a fan of owls and not crows, here's mine, in several parts-
Parliament of owls 🦉
Convened to decide a case 💼
Which crow was guilty 🐦⬛
Of the homicide 🔪
Or perhaps in self defense ❓
The verdict awaits...
Based on a mere leaf 🍁
Of circumstantial evidence
Whoooo could've done it?
Prosecution Rests
Jury deliberates
Will justice prevail? ⚖️
👏👏👏 This haiku chain is great! "Whoooo could've done it?" I love the way you used emojis with the poem!
It's easy to come
Enjoy the sun, not so easy
When it goes away.
A very true haiku. I miss my sun right now.

As long as I can be outside, the weather doesn’t bother me much. But the gray, rainy months certainly aren’t for everyone
Oooo I love word play!
1.
Blind to their duty,
Stars twinkle in the night sky,
Guiding lost souls home.
2.
In a sea of faces,
She wore her heart on her sleeve,
Boldly painted love.
3.
Time flies on swift wings,
Chasing dreams through the ages,
Leaving no regrets.
4.
Lost in a maze of thoughts,
He found the key to his heart,
Unlocked his true self.
