I'm thinking of geese too. They tend to hang out here all year long.

Their flapping wings! Your geese are alive in these panels, Jason.

Happy November (best month of all!)

Thanks, Ann! I also love November, though my 13-year old informed me that November is the Thursday of the months. Not sure exactly what she meant, but she seemed to think it was a withering critique of the month. 🤣

That’s a great quip! I’m finding that November is not for everyone. We were talking about this at work yesterday. For various reasons, people either love this month or hate it. 🌝

Charming and evocative, conjuring up this autumnal time of year in less words than my comment — thank you!

I am in the desert area so it is a bit different- while summer means extreme heat, autumn means FINALLY we can walk out the door without being hit in the face with HEAT! The brown slowly turns to the beginning of new plants. Flowers begin to show their noses, we can actually find the color green these days. Winter is our summer here…. The kind I remember as a kid in Kentucky. A lot of people say they could not stand the summer here. It beats wearing a ton of layers to clean of your car to dig your car out, then another bunch of layers to wear to work. You do not have to shovel the heat. Pros and cons no matter where we make our home, we learn to leave with the cons, and enjoy the pros.

Thank you Jason for another great set of wonderful writing.

I hope your wife if feeling better & everyone in the family is well!

Thanks, Pamela. I love the Great Basin, the desert I've spent the most time in, and I have several poems about that area patiently waiting for me to get around to picking them to illustrate.
