Terrific! As a newcomer to Oregon I look forward to finding these gems. And remember to ramble when running low on inspiration.

I love everything about this: the long, ponderous (in a good way) post, the concept of a ramble, listening for answers--or maybe, prompts--from the universe. I am totally stealing this idea. Ramble on, my friend.

Thank you! I'm happy you liked the idea enough to steal it! I need to add more aimless rambling to my life. It's one of the best ways to quiet my overactive worst case scenario generator.

Thanks for bringing me on this journey with you, Jason. I love the idea of taking off for a day and going whichever way your gut is telling you to go. Your photos came out great, and the views looked breathtaking!

For me, right now, my gut is telling me to stay the course. I know the creative energy it requires to keep making this happen, and it only gets more challenging as the school year progresses. I think I’m finally at a place where I know how I operate, and what I need to do when the going gets tough.

Thank you for the continual motivation! It always makes me feel better knowing there are other like-minded creatives who are in similar situations.

Keep going, Jason! Can’t wait to see what you write next!

Thanks! I'm so glad that I can be even a small part of motivating and inspiring you. Even though I'm not a teacher, the school year turns my schedule upside down. I need to do a better job of not running faster than I have strength. I tend to sprint out on new ideas and find I have no more energy before the project is finished.
