Sometimes the place we are born is not the place we belong
Jason--Today’s letter is a perfect fit with my reading and mindset. Thank you for the metaphor. So many of us are sea turtles looking for the ocean. 🤔
You nailed it, Jason. I love the look and feel and message of this!
I LOVE this! Sea turtles 🐢 or “Honu”, are such beautiful creatures!

1 - saving this writing for continual inspiration!
2 - loved todays haiku and the format of the essay!
3 - the amount of quality content you put into the world, both written and drawn, is amazing!
Don’t have words to say anything about this metaphor , just read and fell.
Genial! Came to me now
As a lover of marine life & your poetry, this post made me so happy!
Jason, that was so great. It would only be the smallest shift for today's post to be the inspiration for an excellent children's book.
Years ago, our son was not so good on land as a boy but in 9th grade he took up swimming and by 12th grade he was the state champ. He still loves water.
You, sir, are an inspiration! This really spoke to so much of my experience.
So true. And you nailed the effort and courage it takes to make that change from land to sea and to find the right current. Bravo!
This is amazing and beautiful. Thanks.
Beautiful work today, Jason! Your tale of the sea turtle works on so many levels. Bravo!
As someone who is feeling a lot like a sea turtle stuck on land lately, I found a lot of comfort reading this! Thank you, Jason.
Love this!!!! So true!!!!
Well done, yet again! And why are turtles so cute!
I loved the essay Jason!
