Hi Visionaries!
I’ve always seen things a little differently.
I see world through an
unfocused kaleidoscope
find stories in shapes
I’ve worn glasses ever since I was eight years old. I probably needed them much sooner, but I didn’t know anything was wrong with my vision. I just thought everyone saw the world as a big, scary, blurry mess unless you got really close to something.
Glasses changed everything. I knew for the first time that my vision was not shared by everyone.
Wearing glasses during the day made the night a little scarier. Blurry shadows could be anything! I often took off my glasses and saw all kinds of stories in the strange shapes and colors I saw in the world.
I’m still looking for stories in shapes I can’t fully focus on.
How about you? How do you see the world?
Cheers,
Jason
I got my first pair of glasses when I was ten, and I didn't wear them once. I was that kid all through school that was embarrassed for needing glasses. It became a game of putting them on when I needed to see the board at school and then taking them straight back off. It's only been the last couple of years that I've finally realized that I enjoying being able to see 😂 and I now wear my glasses full time with no shame.
