I got my first pair of glasses when I was ten, and I didn't wear them once. I was that kid all through school that was embarrassed for needing glasses. It became a game of putting them on when I needed to see the board at school and then taking them straight back off. It's only been the last couple of years that I've finally realized that I enjoying being able to see šŸ˜‚ and I now wear my glasses full time with no shame.

I can relate to that! I always wore my glasses but then I already felt like a social outcast when I got them. But when I got contacts at age 13, everything changed for me. I suddenly felt confident and people seemed friendlier. šŸ¤£ Now Iā€™m old nerds are cool and contacts are a pain so I mostly wear glasses
