The way you've chosen a different way of parenting your own kids is beautiful, Jason. My parents also chose that for me and it makes so much difference. Your haiku celebrate a moment in time, which is always a mind-blowingly small window--to think of this moment--as a microseason. A gift. 💛💛💛

You’ve opened the door to your life and in doing so our own mistakes come to light. You this with sincerity and humour and you’re an inspiration. Your words and story gripped me that I skipped the comics. I’m now going to go back and look at the illustrations. Thank you 🙏 for this deep dive. Writing poetry and haiku is so uplifting and gives some oxygen and breathing is easier. I wish you and yours good health. Thank you for inspiring me as a writer and parent. 🙏

You continue to be such an inspiration, both creatively and in dealing with life. I just returned from a 12-step meeting where we were talking about how to handle the really hard $hi* while sober and then read your newsletter! When we share about our challenges rather than isolating, it helps others feel less alone. Thank you for sharing and re-confirming.

Thank you for your kind words and for being in community with me through your newsletter and your support of my work! While I sometimes have my doubts about the net-good of the internet, meeting creatives and friends like you makes me think that maybe I shouldn't become a hermit in the mountains
