I use Canva to make the gifs. I make them stop-motion style. I upload the different elements that I've already created for the comic and then set the first scene. After that, I copy the page and slightly move the pieces that need to move, and repeat the process for about 15 pages. In this gif I made 4 individual gifs first. Canva has these marvelous frame tools that allowed me to plop four separate gifs on the page and then save it as what I call a super-gif.
I use Canva too, Jason! I’ve been combining video + animation but file size is too large for a gif. Still figuring out how to reduce file size. We’ll see!
That's fantastic! I've never seen an oriole in person before. I love spotting a new bird in real life, it somehow feels surreal. Like, oh that bird is a real-life animal, not just a special effect in books, movies, and TV. lol
My oldest told me that every middle aged man has to pick a hobby and it has to be fishing, the Civil War, or birding. lol. I'm definitely becoming a birder.
Love the poem and the gif! Just a few minutes ago while looking out my daughter’s window I saw a doe and her fawn in the field to the north of our house. 🦌
love the gif! What program or other resource do you use to make gifs?

interesting, thanks for describing - I have an idea for short moving images that I would like to make but I don't know how to make gifs
I look forward to seeing the results!
We saw an oriole in our backyard yesterday. First time any of us had ever seen an oriole here in town!
