Hi Fierce Readers!
I had a little situation last night. In the middle of the night, my computer decided to update itself, even though I had turned off automatic updates.
Now, my computer won’t start. Since I’ve been working on it all day instead of my normal work, I don’t have a new haiku comic. Instead, I have a previously unpublished haiku comic that you can find in Wild Divinity when it launches later this month.
I chose one that fits my current mood.
I am accepting any and all good vibes, thoughts, prayers, and witchy computer magic. Most of my critical data is in the cloud, and I have a pretty decent set of computer troubleshooting skills, but right now the prognosis is not good.
For now, I’ll be using my old laptop, which is serviceable but will slow me down a bit. However, the daily haiku comics will continue!
Cheers,
Jason
Sorry to hear about the computer Jason. Is it a mac or PC?
If a mac I feel your pain, I steer clear of the newer system updates just for that reason: every stinking update involves disconnecting and then reconnecting the power source, removing all usb peripherals, repeated attempts at zapping the pram on startup and various keyboard commands. Even then you might still have to bring it to the apple store just so some dweeb can tell you that you should have the latest Mac. aghgghhh. Good luck my friend.
