Wow, I enjoyed this! Thank you for allowing us to see your process and to share so wonderfully what it is like to be ADHD. I am old now and for my whole life have just been weird ha ha. When my (now adult) children were diagnosed as autistic one with ADHD and one without, it was a relief to discover the blessings and be free of the curse of 'normal'. I loved how you explained all the piles of things, it made so much sense. Thanks Jason.
Jason! Your notebooks are even more beautiful than I imagined. I can absolutely see the Austin-inspiration. And I love how you use Barry's frame review frame! My favorites are the patterns!
We all have a problem with our phones. They sap our attention and drain our brains dry of dopamine. What can we do? Be more like Jason. Carry around a physical notebook and play freely in it as you romp around the greenery of your own neighborhood and moonlit beaches in the rain etc. You don't have to get rid of the phone, just strive to strike a better balance.
Incredible, Jason! I love seeing the progression of your notebooks and your creative process (as you know, I too get geeky on this!). Wow! They are so rich and full of inspiration. Thank you so much for sharing and for the shout-out as well. Here’s to more notebook-filled moments 🙌
Jason I ran through your gauntlet and have been pummeled with creativity from all sides of a colorful spectrum. Sharing the paint and pencil-pen encourages the next cloud in the sky to form into whatever one sees. Thanks.
Wow!!! Thank you Jason for mentioning that my sketchbook work has inspired you! I'm deeply honored!! And after reading what you wrote about your own thinking process I'm more convinced than ever that we're soul siblings!!! I do the piles thing - oh do I do the piles!!! When I enter someone else's space (like a hotel) and there aren't any piles I feel uncomfortable... if it's a hotel that I'm staying in I immediately make a pile of my books then I feel better. 🤣
I feel like "A look at my creative process" is a vast understatement! You've shared so much here, from your notebooks, but also just from the way you see the world, and it's so generous of you!
Button!??? Piles? Do I have adhd? Piles and sub piles and disorder to the rest..is order for us. Very inspiring and liberating to read that notebooks need no structure. I will disagree on food issue. More categories pls for food. Lol!

Thank you for exposing the nuts and bolts of your process!
Love the behind the scenes look. Thank you.
I am dumbstruck, kinda like that Mallard staring at us, like, "what?"
As a fellow notebook person, I want to gratefully thank you for opening up to us. What a display!
I may have to freeze frame today for longer than 24 hours to read everything, look at everything...
I'm pretty nes here on Substack. This is handsdown the best day if posts so far.
You have inspired and motivated me. Such original work. Kudos.

You are inspiring me to start using the many notebooks I’ve bought but never been consistent with.
It is always awe-inspiring to witness the creative process behind an artist's work

Thank you for sharing! I struggle with letting myself go. Structure is so ingrained in me. Thanks for the inspiration!
