Hello, Friends!
Weirdo Poetry exists because I have discovered that sharing my sense of wonder with others makes my small corner of the world a bit better. After the past couple of days, I could really use some wonder, and I bet the same is true for you.
Here are a few winter haiku comics from the archive to spark some wonder in all of us.
thick, black clouds block me from seeing the singing stars a long silent night
on the porch watching massive snowflakes tumble down disappear on ground
snow refelcting moon ice crystals refracting light glittering jewels
crisp winter morning humpback whales spout a greeting Pacific migrants
naked trees beckon winter to wrap them in her deep white coat of sleep
I’ll be back Monday for a week of new haiku comics before taking a hiatus for the last week of the year.
Be the poetry you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason
So lovely, as usual. That last one gives me goosebumps. 🩷
Especially magical, Jason, these haikus and images. Thank you for the wonder. I’m excited to be done typing this note so I can go look at them again.
