This is exactly why my granddaughter has « poetry books » on her Christmas list for me. And yes another of yours came in afew days ago for her - and one of Jonathan Potter’s.
I really liked this last haiku: naked trees beckon/winter to wrap them in her/deep white coat of sleep
I think I'd like to be a tree right now, sleeping for winter.
Also, I'd really like to know what exactly triggered your obsession with Nazis this week. Was it Trump saying he would be a dictator for the first day (and implied for always)? Serious concerns. I'm as frightened as you are. Or was there some other occurrence that lit your fire? Asking as a friend!
