Thank you for always inspiring me with your words. Your journey sounds exciting, and I wish you all the best in your creative process! I can’t wait to hear more.

I have many writing-related dreams. One of them is to self-publish a collection of my short fiction. There’s something magical about holding a book in my hands, and I know I’m at the point where I can make this a reality with my own stories. Though it’s a lot of work, I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey.

My goal for the week is to begin compiling my short stories into a single document so I can see what they look like as a whole. It seems like a decent starting point! 😄

I love this Jason! A while back, I'm pretty sure before you were reading my newsletter, I wrote a post about the 5 words I live by: commit and figure it out. I didn't talk about manifesting, but, really, it's all part and parcel of the same thing.

You first need the dream. You don't have to know how you're going to get there. You commit to that dream and figure it out. Then you put in the work. One step at a time. This is how we manifest our dreams.

Do we need "good vibes?" I think we do, but not because they magically deliver our heart's desire. It's more that they motivate us and sustain us through what can be a hard slog. And I think there really is a ripple out in to the world, though maybe not the way the gurus suggest. I think positivity breeds positivity.

As for things coming to us unexpectedly, I think that happens to everyone in life. Often we've planted seeds that come to fruition years later. There's an element of networking to this.

One of my longest standing coaching clients came to me three years after I had planted the seed. We had spoken maybe twice in the interim regarding work they did for me. But when they realized they needed coaching (which would never have occurred to them had I not planted the seed), they never considered looking elsewhere.

So, yes, it's necessary to manifest our dreams if we want them to happen, but there's so much more to that manifestation than people realize. Life rarely hands us anything we do not actively work to make happen. Sending you all the good energy to manifest this current dream of yours!
