Hello, Party People!
While not officially fall, the weather here in the Willamette Valley has suddenly sent summer packing and embraced the autumn with open arms. Plus, my non-college-age children all start school this week. This has all put me in the mood to celebrate a new season.
Here are a few fall haiku comics to get you in the mood.
when my breathe is gone
send bouquets of autumn leaves
death has its beauty
stained glass window boughs
in a forest cathedral
summon the divine
crisp, decaying leaves
death’s vivacious imposter
seasonal slumber
For me, the fall has the energy most people associate with the new year. September is when I review my past year and reconsider my course for the coming trip around the sun.
I don’t set goals or have resolutions. Instead, I listen to my intuition and set waypoints to keep me on course. There are a lot of exciting things in the works, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Be the weird you want to see in the world!
Cheers,
Jason

Beautiful, Jason! September (and the start of school) has always felt like the true start of the year.
