Yes!!! I feel similarly!! You are definitely one of the many talented creative friends I've met here on Substack!! Thanks for being here and all of the work you do!! 💙
Jason, honestly you are too kind! Your cookies are a work of art. And, like so much of your perfect haiku and narrative, your story today touched me beyond words. I’ve never been much of a baker myself, but getting back to cooking after all these years and spreading my baking wings has been nostalgic and calming and creative--a full sensory immersion. I even keep my journal on the counter, making notes as I cook.
So grateful to know you. Peace to you and yours. ☮️
I love the idea of keeping a journal on the counter while cooking! I know there are seasons for different things in life, and I'm grateful for you for helping me slowly move towards a season of finding joy in cooking, instead of simply viewing as one more household task.
I love both of Amie's newsletters. And those cookies! Yum!
Thanks! They are almost gone now! Amie does know how to breathe life into everything she writes. There is a lot of talent here on Substack
Bravo to you!!! Sometimes homebaked cookies are just what's needed!! I love Amie's newsletters too!! 💙💙
Her newsletters are fantastic. I feel so fortunate to have so many talented creative friends that I met on Substack!
