I was emailing someone else about this. It used to take me until the end of February to get sick of our long gray winters. But this year I'm ready for a tropical getaway right now! The only problem is my current travel budget will only get me to the movies!

Cold from November to February or sometimes it lingers into March. Plenty of snow, but since we always get snow we almost never get snow days.

How do you like the snow? I love having one or two days of it, but I'm over it after that. I've lived in snowy places like Colorado, Utah, and Idaho, but I've spent more time on the west coast. I think I like going to the snow more than having the snow come to me!

I've only ever lived in Utah and Idaho, so it would be really strange for me if I didn't get snow every year. I don't mind it too much, as long as the roads are mostly clear to drive on.

North-central Arizona, south of Sedona. Cold winters from December to March with some snow, depending on elevation. Gorgeous blue skies and clear air!

Right now I envy your blue skies! We've had a lot of gray skies the past month.

I experience SAD, and sadly that’s why I can never live west of the Cascades in the PNW. I need at least 300 days of sunshine. Arizona it is.

I have a few friends here with SAD, and the long rainy season is extremely tough for them. I'm gad you found a place you love that has the sunshine you need to feel your best!
