I think the fact that you have children and your improved relationships with them as well as your nephews and nieces says a lot about how much you have grown as a man.

I have the same issue with my mother (on mother's day). I don't care about these days because none of these days existed growing up. Lol. I care about being a good person on a daily basis is what matters. I definitely celebrate that.
