That last line is especially beautiful and powerful! I love the idea of cocooned in god
Oh yeah for sure! I’ve been practicing contemplative prayer for many years now, and to me, it always feels like a really cocoon-like space to be in. Like putting down something heavy and resting.
Wild geese overhead
chant and clatter to each other
across winter sky.
I love the sound of migration geese too! Great haiku!
Scratches on window frame
Lizards squeeze to catch black widows
Underneath the facia.
This is a suspenseful drama all in three lines! I love this
Didn't think of it as suspenseful, but I guess it is a little garden drama.
the tap tap tapping drones on
soothes battered edges
i'm awash, adrift, alone
