Not nearly often enough. Thanks for this great incentive to do nothing!

Nothing is noted that is something that is created from within the universe of meditation and brought forth to be seen as a gift. Enjoy your nothingness vacation.

I have just journaling about this recently, because I tend to thinking I have so much still, silent, nothing time… but then, well I tend to always be looking to fill it with something, even meditation can be a way of filling time that you could just actually sit still and silent and do nothing. So here’s to nothing!! 🥂

It's hard to turn off the sense that we need to be doing something. Instead of remembering that just existing is enough, we are enough.

Love this, Jason. I’d ask that you report back when you return but that would impose a burden on the purity of nothingness.

Oh this is wonderful, Jason… what an unexpectedly beautiful focus on the thread (and joy) of nothingness. I hope you do nothing and have a wonderful time doing nothing on this getaway.

Great post! When I was a kid, we did nothing every Sunday. It was almost a British tradition, which I suppose came from a religious source. Last Sunday I decided not to use my phone or computer from about 8am to 7pm. It wasn’t easy, but it was very relaxing.

Nothing to get hung up on.

I've tried different versions of a digital sabbath over the years and always feel better when I can take a long, weekly break from screens.

I like the idea of setting aside special time for nothing on a more regular basis

I'm trying to blend it in with my posting on Substack. I have my posts set to go online at 11.am on a Sunday, and I normally do the final edit early on Sunday morning. If I can avoid all screens (other than the TV) for the rest of the day, then it saves me from getting compulsive about checking for reads and replies. Ant then when I do check - its a bit of a treat.

Enjoy the nothingness!!

It makes me remember the concept of Ma, the in-between.

And these days, I value more and more that white space, the nothingness. Connecting to that connects to our sould and funnily enough, to all of us, to the whole.

So, I just wish that you bathe completely in nothingness. Just be there.

Very good, thanks Jason. Your name is an acronym or more specifically an initialism of July, August, September, October and November. Maybe one day, your wandering may take that amount of time.
